This tax shall be imposed on all vehicles and means of transportation. The tax rate and tax due shall be determined by the Prakas of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

For easy way, you can pay Tax on Means of Transportation via banks in Cambodia.

We will take ACLEDA Bank as sample for paying tax on means of transportation via bank ( Source:  acledabank).  ACLEDA Bank is authorized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance to provide Tax Payment on Means of Transportation for all types of vehicles via branches of ACLEDA Bank throughout Cambodia.

Requirements for paying tax on means of transportation ( ACLEDA Bank )

Motorcycle and Three-wheeled Motorcycle

• -No requirement document or filling form.
• -You can buy tax stamps for all kinds of motorcycles and three-wheeled motorcycles conveniently via branches of ACLEDA Bank throughout the country.
• -No limit the amount of tax stamps; you can buy as many as your requirements.

Car, Tractor and Similar Machine, Boat

• 1.You have to fill the Tax Return for Vehicle Tax Form and bring two copies of this form to any ACLEDA Bank’s Branch.
• 2.Attach a vehicle registration card or an import tax receipt for a temporary number plate of a vehicle.
• 3.Attach an ID card, a passport or a birth certificate of a vehicle-owner.

Van, Truck, Bus

• 1.You have to fill the Tax Return for Vehicle Tax Form and bring two copies of this form to any ACLEDA Bank’s Branch.
• 2.Attach a vehicle registration card or an import tax receipt for a temporary number plate of a vehicle.
• 3.Attach an ID card, a passport or a birth certificate of a vehicle-owner.
• 4.Attach a certificate of a vehicle technical inspection.

Currency

The tax payment is “Khmer Riel”. If you pay in cash or debit from your account in other currencies, we will convert them into Khmer Riel based on the exchange rates of ACLEDA Bank.
