Louise Elizabeth Nurding formally Redknapp (born 4 November 1974) professionally known as Louise, is an English singer, songwriter and media personality. She was a member of Eternal, an R&B girl group which debuted in 1993 with their quadruple-platinum studio album Always & Forever. In 1995, Nurding departed the group for a solo career, in which she released the platinum-selling albums Naked (1996), Woman In Me (1997) and Elbow Beach (2000). Louise Redknapp (née Nurding), 46, is from Lewisham. She attended the Italia Conti Academy of theatre arts in London where she met her future bandmate Kéllé Bryan. In 1992 she joined girl band Eternal aged 16 after being scouted in a nightclub by producer Denis Ingoldsby. The band’s debut album ‘Always and Forever’ went four times platinum in the UK. Louise went solo in 1995 with three successful albums and has sold over 15 million albums in the UK. In January 2019 she starred in the West End musical 9 to 5 based on the music of Dolly Parton. In February of the same year, she announced she had signed a global record deal with ADA / Warner Music.
