Sherilyn Fenn (born Sheryl Ann Fenn; February 1, 1965) is an American actress. She came to attention for her performance as Audrey Horne on the TV series Twin Peaks (1990–1991, 2017) for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award. At 16, just like all my friends in Michigan, I was smoking pot, drinking at the weekends and didn’t know what I was going to do with my life. My aspirations were that maybe I would be a hairdresser or, even more glamorous, a stewardess. It was simple, humble, really normal stuff – riding my bike, taking the bus in winters. And I am so glad I grew up that way.

I was always in love with Prince. I was living in Motown and they were playing a lot of Prince everywhere. And when I was younger, I thought I was in love with John Travolta from Grease and Saturday Night Fever. We would go to see Grease every weekend and get somebody to sneak us in. I must have seen it 15 times.

After 26 years the wait is almost over: A new era of Twin Peaks is upon us. In the original series—which premiered on ABC—Sherilyn Fenn’s Audrey Horne played a pivotal role in the plot as the eccentric bad girl of the small Pacific Northwest town of Twin Peaks, who had an affinity for Kyle MacLachlan’s FBI Agent Dale Cooper (and an impressive collection of sweaters). While the show definitely helped Fenn’s rise to fame, she also became known for starring in Rude Awakening and Of Mice And Men, and had recurring roles on Gilmore Girls and Dawson’s Creek. (And alongside acting, Fenn also became a children’s book author.) But when fans pushed for the return of Twin Peaks, Fenn was game to revisit the character that helped her make a name for herself in Hollywood.
