I personally feel that if he had just got some help from someone, an intervention of sorts, he would have still been among us. His life was one of excess and over the top antics. His ‘fuck-you’ attitude towards life and authority was needless to say slightly disturbing but deep down he was a talented, loving soul that lost his way in alcohol and drugs. His voice was a dark, ghostly eclectic and inspiring one and every song he sang was with melancholy and inspiration. But you could feel his inner sadness through his music and ofcourse his life outside music- the wild, dark side, he was as he put it ” I see myself as an intelligent, sensitive human, with the soul of a clown which forces me to blow it at the most important moments.”
